We are striving to foster a love of computer science and technology in young, aspiring individuals within our communities and provide computer science classes that are accessible to everyone.
Previously named GirlHub, our program was originally dedicated to inspiring young girls to pursue education in computer science.
TeenHub was founded last year by the Rockville-Montgomery Robotics Association, Inc., an IRS-recognized non-profit organization that fields FTC Team 5421. As a student-led team, we seek to give all people, regardless of ethnic background, age, or socioeconomic status, the opportunity to experience the wonders of STEM.
After being met with an overwhelmingly positive response in Maryland, TeenHub has been looking to expand our curricula and program to other libraries through the help of various teams and individuals.
